This is a collection of 5 individual lessons based on clips from TV news and documentaries. Topics include a scandal from the Franco era, Spain’s artistic and cultural heritage, the repopulation of rural villages in Spain, and the reasons for Spain’s long working day.
Español con noticias y documentales: La historia de tres regiones bilingües de España
This course is based on clips from documentaries that are narrated in a clear and original way, about three bilingual regions of Spain: the Basque Country, Catalonia and Galicia. You’ll learn vocabulary and expressions that will help you to read newspaper or Internet articles, understand TV and print news, or talk about history and current events.
Pack 3: Mejora tu pronunciación con Real Spanish (2 courses, 10 lessons)
These courses will help to tune your ear to the sounds of Spanish and make your own speech more comprehensible. Tey will help you to sound more natural and less hesitant, feel more confident, speak more fluently and, above all, be understood. Each video-lesson consists of a video explaining and demonstrating an aspect of Spanish pronunciation, followed by an interactive component where you can listen, repeat, record yourself, and compare your pronunciation with that o a native speaker.
Mejora tu pronunciación 1: Problemas comunes
This course will help you to distinguish and produce the sounds that most speakers of other languages find difficult: for example, how to pronounce the Spanish “R”. The first lesson is a free preview: try it now!
Mejora tu pronunciación 2: Las vocales
These lessons will help you to produce the tense vowel sounds that are typical of Spanish (sounds, plural).

Each mini-lesson consists of a video, an annotated transcription, grammar notes and some interactive exercises. Some mini-lessons are excerpts from some of our full-length lessons; others are about current events, colloquial words and phrases, and cultural notes.
Important: if you buy a mini-lesson, individually, and later decide to by a pack that includes the same mini-lesson, we’ll refund the cost of the mini-lesson that you already bought. Just send us an email and we’ll refund the cost right away!

In this pack you'll enjoy a clip from a popular movie and a clip from a documentary. You'll learn some colloquial expressions related to parts of the human body and several ways to express strong disagreement or refusal. You'll also learn some expressions with the word «leche»: but be careful, some are quite vulgar!
Real Spanish in Minutes Pack 2: 5 mini-lessons
In this pack you'll enjoy a clip from a popular TV series and a clip from a news report about a terrible scandal that began in the Franco era. You'll learn some colloquial expressions related to parts of the human body: in this case, with the word «pelo». You’ll learn how to express refusal or reject an idea, a request, or a suggestion. You'll learn how to express doubt or probability, using the indicative or subjunctive. You'll also learn the difference between «el mar» and «la mar».
Real Spanish in Minutes Pack 3: 5 mini-lessons
In this pack you'll enjoy a clip from a popular movie and a clip from a documentary narrated in an interesting and original way. You'll learn some colloquial expressions with the word «huevos»: be careful, some are quite vulgar! You'll learn some expressions with the word «mano» and some expressions related to the concept of speed.
